What have you been taught about money? Have you bought a house, an IRA, Wall Street? Your parents, the media, and school have taught you the wrong things. Don’t listen to Suzy Orman or Dave Ramsey. You don’t need to focus on saving, you don’t need to be worried about debt, you need to be worried about income.

Next couple of generations of his family will remember how much of a workaholic he was and probably run his business into the dirt. I like his tenacity but the big picture view is distorted.

"Do you know anybody who said: my house made me rich?" My uncle bought a house in Vancouver decades ago way before it was worth anything, and he made his entire millions off sitting on that house during the housing bubble.

Of course, that is an exception, but I am proud to know such a person. It's almost impossible to replicate today without a time machine.

Grant is full of shit, selling a motivational infomercial to a bunch of stupid cunts who think it will lead them to money. Grant: you need money to make money. Like Grant how did you get that $350K in the early 90s to buy that building, by selling cars right?

GC talking about compound interest regarding banks, while not talking about the stock market and the average 8 percentage it goes up.

I get it, it is his thing and real estate is a good asset
However the start point regarding index fund and buying duplex is way different and taxed differently from country to country.
