Search Keywords

Search Keywords: see what people type into Google to find your store

Google no longer tells websites which search words brought visitors in. Search Keywords gets them back. It connects to your free Google Search Console, downloads your search data and keeps it in your own store, so you can see which searches work and where to improve.

📊 Your numbers at a glance

• 🖱 Clicks to your store from Google
• 👁 Impressions: how many times your store showed up in results
• 📈 Click-through rate and average position
• ⬆️⬇️ Change arrows that compare each figure with the period before
• 📅 Pick your range: the last 7, 28, 90, 180 or 365 days, or any dates you choose
• 📉 Daily charts of clicks and impressions, so trends are easy to spot

🔎 Find your next win

• 🏷 Keyword table. Search it and sort it by clicks, impressions, click rate or position
• 🎯 "Almost page 1" list. Phrases that rank just below the top results, where a small improvement can bring real traffic
• 🆕 New keywords. Phrases that brought your store up in Google for the first time
• 📄 Top pages. See which products and pages Google sends people to
• 📤 Export any list to CSV for a spreadsheet or your own reports

🗄 Your history, kept for good

• Data is saved in your own database, so you keep more than the 16 months Google holds
• Updates when you open the page, or on a schedule using your store's usual cron address
• No monthly fee and no outside analytics service

🔌 Simple one-time setup

• Follow the step-by-step guide in Admin. It takes about 10 minutes and it is free
• Connect with a read-only login that you create once in Google
• Choose which of your sites to follow, and you are done
• Disconnect any time with one click

🛡 Private and read-only

• Never changes anything in your Google account
• Never tracks your visitors and stores no personal data. These are Google's anonymous totals
• Your data stays in your own database on your own hosting

Requires Sonicstore 8.17.0 or newer, the PHP openssl extension, and a Google Search Console account for your store's website.
