  1. This really changed me. I wouldn't have done the Lambda bootcamp without this push. 9 months full-time student with no time for a part time job, so no income. It's tough, but I decided that this is either going to work or I'll finally know for sure that I'm not meant to be a web developer. I don't lose anything except time, if I do it right.

  2. Been following you for a while now and actually that makes total sense it could even mean go reset and figure your next plan if the first one doesn't work but the notion of failing gets to most people and actually it paralyzes them but like you said you can always go practical and start again. Such a powerful and eye opener.

  3. Wow I am totally mind-blown. This is awesome.

  4. Thanks for the great advise
    and yes you are right..
we can always get some kind of job.

  5. Facts. The conventional world is like a desperate spinster. May not be what you want but it's always there waiting. 💪🏼💯

  6. Your know Gary? I'm still waiting for you to tell me about the music at the end of the video……. still waiting…..

    just sayin

  7. I'm at a point right now where I lost my job about 2 months ago and decided to try something new, something "impractical". But I've been lazy and haven't pulled the trigger. Just a few days ago that job that let me go emailed me about a new opening. It put me in a mental bind. Do I really want to go back to that or go ahead and pursue my impractical impulse? There are no guarantees in my pursuit, but that job will always be there. I'm not answering that email.

  8. this is my fav!!!! one!!! when I tell people I dropped out of college/university I say it is always there. Most don't get it. but the vaynernation do. Much Love.

  9. Gary, where you at? It's 1:55 am east cost. I know you still up, on some grind time Instagram/facebook ad shit. I need to know about that beat. get at me

    just sayin

  10. Holy fuck. This was so simple and yet I was mind blown.

  11. Gary, what's the music at the end of the video?

    just sayin

  12. do i quit my job and move to new city to work for free, if i have a wife and 2 kids..

  14. " The practical world is always opened armed"

  15. Wow. When he said…" the practical world is always open armed. " it truly is always there waiting for you. Give yourself 24-36 months of just going out for your dreams and aspirations. If it doesn't work out you can step back and give yourself some time to plan your next move. Especially helpful for recent college graduates figuring out what to do.

  16. Awesome, Gary!!! Love these one min videos!

  17. Dude! That's how I've always felt about the world! People thought I was crazy to quit my job (minimum wage basically) and move across the country to try something new.. Like, why? What's the worst that could happen? There's always a job somewhere if all else fails. It's not a life or death situation people! Go out and TRY something, you'll be fine.

  18. #clipit 0:000:10 Gary I love your empathy I love how it's a part of your character but I feel sometimes you have to explain your advice. we get it! you have to DO!!!!

  19. I never thought of it like that but it makes sense. Gonna take the step!!
