  1. Ehy i am a 3D modeler and an unreal engine developer, i made a Bullywug with my ender, modeled by me on zbeush and then i handpainted it. The paint part isn't perfect, was my first time, but the bullywug came out good and a little funny ( he gives bombastic side-eyes)

  2. Most of these aren't free. (?) Is it the finding of them that's free or did the title intend that they, themselves, the files, are free? Shapeways is pay only, according to my searches. (I may have don it wrong, I have been accused of making mistakes before 😉 )

  3. I'm just getting into 3d printing. I picked up an Anycubic Proton Mono X 6k. I am all setup and ready to hit the ground running. Since I ordered the printer, I've been looking for skeleton models to print to fill out my dream army to unleash on my D&D players! Well… I am now somewhat discouraged. I can not find even paid skeleton minis. I mean, this wasn't the ONLY thing I wanted a printer for, but it was a BIG part of it.

  4. Male and female is sex there is no need to apologize.

Though sex and gender and intertwined they are not one and the same.
Sex is the biological attribute markers (both physical genitalia and chromosomes) that identify the sexes.

Gender is neuro-chemical (meaning in the brain which is also biological) and is binary, it is not "fluid"

Gender is not a social construct (many liberals and woke individuals conflate gender and gender roles as one and the same)

Gender roles are a social construct, gender roles are societal understandings of what each gender should behave as and/or do (example: man goes to work and provides for family, woman stays home and cares for kids and house).

    Many woke argue intersex people
Are evidence of a 3rd gender, hence claim gender is fluid. Intersex is a biological sex anomaly (mutation) which falls in the scientific margin for error. It also involves the sex of a person and not the gender. (Intersex people can have the opposite genitalia as their sex, a variety of chromosomal coding, incorrect internal organs, etc. All of which are sex not gender.

But hey I just have a PhD in psychology and various other degrees including MS in biology.

  5. I know this post is quite old. I just got my printer today, I've watched a lot fo your videos and yiou've been super helpful. I hater to ask anything, but I'm encountring something I haven't seen anyone address in their videos…….. I'm getting random strands of plastic. OK, some of it is on the print plate. seperate from my print. Anoying but ignorable. I'm also getting random strands on outside my print bed, it's ending up on the base of my unit and that just doesn't make sense. Would you be able to shine a light on it?

  6. My 3-D printer is already not working after two weeks. (Ended 3v2 ) after two weeks the armature lifting the extruder no longer lifts more than an inch or so before stoping. Ruining the print. I've reached out to the manufacture and I've been answered seemingly being ignored. I can't find a one 800 number or any other way to get a hold of a person to help. Please someone help or give me advice

  7. If you're just starting out in D&D and you don't have time or resources to 3D print or buy large numbers of minis look up Giant in the Playground and their webcomic Order of the Stick.

A while back they did a kickstarter to pay for new print runs of their books. One of the backer rewards was a series of pdfs called Monsters for Every Season. The pdfs are 30 to 60 pages of paper craft minis for most of the 3rd and 3.5 D&D monsters. All drawn in the art style of the Order of the Stick webcomic.

Last I checked, they had 5 different pdfs of these paper craft minis on the website that hosts their store. Priced at $6 suggested donation.

Download the pdfs, print off the pages with minis you need, cut them out, and fold them into simple A-frames. It's simple, cheap, fast, and supports a good artist.

  8. MZ4250 is amazing.
Not only does he do a large number of models, many of which are free to download, he goes out of his way to make them look as close to the official art as possible.
He doesn't just do a Dao, he does the text book Dao right off the page.
