Regarding warping and solutions: Basswood plywood is made from veneers that are peeled or sliced from wood segments and glued together with adhesive. This manufacturing process preserves the beautiful wood grain, but slight warping is common, but in most cases, it does not affect its use. Store the boards indoors at a humidity level of 40% to 60%. Humidity fluctuations can easily cause warping. Before use, inspect the boards for significant warping. If so, place a heavy object on the boards and let them sit for a few days to allow the moisture inside to equilibrate and reduce any warping before use. To address minor warping, moisten the concave surface and dry the convex surface. Moisten the concave surface of the plywood with a sponge or syringe (using hot water).
